Step 1

• Defeat bosses in the "Prophecy" dungeon and uncover the Willbreaker shard held in the realm of the Nine. Alternatively, defeat powerful Taken anywhere in the system to capture their essence and uncover the shard.

• Powerful Taken: x/150

Nobody knows why those weirdos do what they do. But I've borrowed plenty from them before and they don't seem to mind!

Step 2

• Free from the Taken who tethered the shard in the Unknown Space, the shard phases out of time and into the Derelict. Return to Drifter to retrieve it.
• Drifter visited

Drifter regards you with a wry smile as you approach.

"Hey Hero, or is it Killer? Hard to tell these days." His smile widens. "You notice the Taken in there ain't singing the same song as the ones the Echo has all riled up? Yeah, me too. Wonder what that's about."

Drifter flips a jade coin between his fingers. You see a Taken symbol on one side, and a Hive symbol on the other. "Anyway, I've pulled out that little shard of Dark you freed up. Wicked piece of work there: still sharp and cold as ice. Wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of it, so that's why I'm giving it to you. Put it to the throat of every monster you meet on Oryx's ship, would ya?"
