Pirate Hideout: The Beast Tamer

Transcript

{Mission begins}

Drifter: Hey, hero! Spider said he needed my help again.

The Spider: I said no such thing. The Guardian has proven quite efficient at removing these thorns from our sides.

Drifter: Well, this thorn's got teeth. Lots of 'em. Big and pointy.

The Spider: An Eliksni obsessed with those disgusting Cabal Warbeasts. Goes by the name Alaaks.

Drifter: Hey! War Beasts ain't so bad… if you remember to feed 'em.

The Spider: I've seen what they eat. Too much trouble for the cost.

The Guardian enters the hideout to discover many of the crew are already dead.

Drifter: Something's wrong. Whoever came through here cleaned this place out.

The Spider: Huh. Another gang. Scavs bold enough to assault a hideout for its treasures.

Drifter: Nah, this outfit is organized. Efficient. And almost as deadly as the Guardian.

The Spider: I wonder if our Pirate Lord is still with us.

The Guardian finds Alaaks and his War Beasts.

The Spider: Haha! So Alaaks survived, hm… for a little while longer.

The Guardian defeats Alaaks.

Drifter: Whoever tried to take that Pirate Lord down first, they didn't get the relic. But these interlopers managed to take out half this crew.

The Spider: Huh. Did they want the relic? Or just a little bloodshed? Well, whoever they are, they've made powerful enemies.

Drifter: Yeah. Us too.
